While a career of service of others can often be personally rewarding and provide opportunities to support and connect to a greater purpose, it is often depleting. Exposure to traumatic events and danger, long working hours, and chronic stress are often the hallmarks of service-based careers paths. If left unchecked, these inherent occupational stressors will have a negative impact on one’s physical and mental health, personal relationships, and mission performance. It is common for church leaders to experience symptoms of post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, and burnout.
Join coaches Dimple Dhabalia and Kristin Cox as they address the challenges faced by church leaders and other helping professionals who face traumatic experiences every day, whether experienced personally or vicariously on behalf of others. You will learn practical ways to recover from these accumulated experiences and experience joy in ministry again.
